Pastel Class information:
Learn how to create strong paintings through sketching, dynamic underpaintings, use of rich color. There are daily demonstrations, plenty of critiques and at-easel assistance.

*Sonoma County Plein Air and Indoor workshops based at my fabulous new straw bale studio in Cotati, California, southern gateway to the beautiful Sonoma County Wine Country.

Indoor workshops: We work from photo references provided by students or by the instructor.

Plein Air Workshops: The first morning we will cover basics of plein air painting indoors. The remainder of the time will be spent outdoors creating on-location scenes in pastels.

Cost: $300 for three days. Materials and local lodging lists upon request

Group lessons: I also hold twice monthly group lessons in my studio in Cotati, California. cost: $160 for four sessions (two months)

Private sessions by appointment. Possibilities include painting indoors or outdoors, critiques, demonstrations, consultations. cost: $40 per hour, two hour minimum
